R.A.C.E.D - Racehorse After Care Education Diversity Limited emerged out of a pursuit to inspire, create opportunities, educate and most importantly support racehorses leaving the racing industry, our desire is for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2021, we’re an organisation driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. We firmly believe with support and as a collective we can make a difference in many horses lives by giving them the opportunity to live a long and happy life post racing. MISSION
Here at R.A.C.E.D - Racehorse After Care Education Diversity Limited, we are driven by a single goal; to give every retiring racehorse a second chance, a life after racing. We do our part by giving thoroughbreds the love, care and skills they need to excel in post-racing careers. We strive to ensure we match our horses with their perfect partner. We believe every horse can have a purpose, a second career, it's just a matter of finding the right fit for each individual horse and matching them correctly to "their person", whether that be as a competition horse or simply a pleasure horse.

With access to the right resources, time, and retraining we are setting them up to fulfill their potential, the future possibilities for these horses are endless. The thoroughbred has proven time and time again their ability to transition into a second career due to their trainability, versatility and adaptability. Spelling is something that we take very seriously, we believe it is a non-negotiable to the horse's welfare. "Letting Down" with a change in diet and a change of pace for these Thoroughbreds before their re-education journey begins.

R.A.C.E.D Horses are generously supported by SCF.
When horses are racing, they are fed high-energy diets to support their athletic performance. A key part of transitioning racehorses after retirement is adjusting their diet. We’ve worked closely with the team at SCF to ensure our horses receive the best possible nutrition in their post-racing lives. They no longer require the high-energy, grain-heavy diets but instead need a balanced regimen to maintain excellent condition inside and out, without increasing their energy levels.

My name is Fiona McIntyre, the founder of R.A.C.E.D - Racehorse After Care Education Diversity, and I'm dedicating my life to making a positive impact in the lives of Retired Racehorse through our care, retraining and rehoming efforts.
I'm driven to make a difference for these horses and dedicate hours of my time to care, retrain and rehome retired racehorses. We aim to create awareness and help drive demand for these very talented horses in their post racing lives. We can't do it alone which is why we created R.A.C.E.D - Racehorse After Care Education Diversity Limited, we are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient by the Australian Taxation Office with donations over $2.00 being tax-deductible.
